Sachem North (Division I) and Westhampton Beach (Division II) have won their respective Suffolk County boys volleyball titles.
Next they will compete in the Long Island championships.

The 2019 Suffolk County football playoffs are upon us and the brackets are set.
Get your tickets to Section XI playoff and championship events prior to getting to the stadium and venues!
Ward Melville boys golf has captured a Suffolk County championship.
The No. 2 Patriots (15-0) beat No. 12 Southampton at Rock Hill Country Club.
Palmer Van Tuyl shot a 1-over 37 on the back nine to seal it for Ward Melville.
This makes two straight titles for the Patriots.

James Alden from Northport was the Individual champ.
Also is the picture of the nine players who qualified for the State Tournament in June.
Four Ward Melville players are on the team. It is the first time ever that so many players made it from one team.
Jalill Carter (l.) and Tyler Gulluscio from Shelter Island were part of their school’s junior class job shadow day and spent the day at Section XI.
They sat in on the fall playoff seeding meeting and got a first-hand look at athletic administration.
