Section XI Hoops Official Kevin Harrington Retires After 31 Years
Section XI basketball official Kevin Harrington is hanging up his whistle after 31 years and retiring from service to the game and our student-athletes.
Harrington officiated his last game during the AAA Long Island championship.
Thank you, Kevin!
Matteo DeVincenzo Named AD of the Year at the NIAAA Conference
Congratulations to Matteo DeVincenzo, who was named Athletic Director of the Year at the New York State Athletic Administrators Association conference!
DeVincenzo has worked tirelessly for Comsewogue Schools as AD and Section XI in many capacities, including chair of wrestling.
Thank you for all you do for student-athletes!

- Dakota Collins bowled the second-highest series in the state

Rocky Point’s Aidan Barry Reaches 100 Wins
During the 24-25 season, Rocky Point’s Aidan Barry reached the 100-career-win mark. Congrats on the milestone!

Section XI Mourns Loss of Official Ted Pollack
Section XI is saddened about the passing of longtime official Ted Pollack. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
We thank him for his decades of service to our Section.
There will be services on Wednesday, March 12, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Thursday, March 13, from Noon to 1 p.m. This will occur at Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home in West Islip.
He will be laid to rest at Pinelawn Cemetary.
