Northport Flag Football Plays at MetLife Stadium
The Northport Girls Flag Football team traveled to MetLife Stadium on Saturday, August 10, where the New York Jets invited them to play during halftime of the Jets’ preseason game.
It was an incredible opportunity for the program to walk out of the tunnel and play in a large stadium.
Two Section XI Officials Work first NYSPHSAA Girls Flag Football Tournament
The NYSPHSAA had its inaugural Girls Flag Football State Tournament and Championship this month.
Two officials represented Section XI in the Tournament: Marc A. Negrin Sr. (White Hat) and Bill Moran (Linesman).
Hills, Sayville Win Flag Football County Titles
Congratulations to Hills and Sayville on winning their respective Suffolk County girl’s flag football championships!

Section XI Flag Football Playoffs Underway
The Section XI girl’s flag football playoffs are underway and more games are scheduled for Friday night.
Defending champion Half Hollow Hills earned the top seed in Class A, while Sayville is the top seed in Class B.
