Milestone: Mattituck’s Allen Scores 1,000th Point

Mattituck’s Xavier Allen scored career point No. 1,000 in early December.

He is the first player to reach 1,000 points since 1983 in Mattituck boys’ basketball history.

Xavier credits his success to his role model and older brother Eugene, who introduced him to the game of basketball at 4 years old. His brother keeps him focused on his life goals and helps him better his game.

Xavier is grateful for the sacrifices his parents made to support him through this journey.
