Team Up 4 Community: Miller Place Raises Funds for ALS Ride for Life
Once again the Miller Place Boys Varsity Soccer Teams takes part in the ALS Ride For Life fundraiser and they raised $3,500.
Don’t forget to send in your community service initiatives to the Team Up 4 Community organization and you can be recognized for giving back.
Southampton is First School to Play Unified Soccer
Southampton became the first school based program on Long Island to field a Unified Soccer team.
In their first game vs the NYC Eagles, they won, 6-2. In the final game they meet the NYC Cityhawks and lost, 7-2.
Southampton was awarded a silver medal and most importantly left feeling like a team. Their next scheduled tournament is being played on October 19 on Randall’s Island for the NYC Inclusion Cup.

Amityville boys soccer is ranked No. 19 to open the season in the United Soccer Coaches and USA TODAY High School Sports poll.
The Warriors are one of three schools from New York and the only from Long Island to crack the top 20.
