Suffolk County Girls Lacrosse Champions Crowned
Congrats to the following schools for winning Suffolk County girls lacrosse championships:
- Class A: Huntington
- Class B: Smithtown West
- Class C: Bayport-Blue Point
- Class D: Mattituck-Greenport-Shelter Island
Good luck in the Long Island championships on Tuesday, June 3 at Adelphi:
- Class D: Matt/Gpt/Shld at CSH, 11:30 am
- Class A: Huntington at Massapequa, 2 pm
- Class B: Smithtown West at Garden City, 4:30 pm
- Class C: Bayport-BP at Southside, 7 pm
Hills East Wins Large School Suffolk County Boys Tennis Championship
Congrats to Half Hollow Hills East for winning the Suffolk County Large School Boys Tennis Championship!
They will be competing for the Long Island Championship against Syosset. Good luck!
Sayville Wins Class B Suffolk County Flag Football Title
Congrats to the Sayville Girls Flag Football Undefeated Section XI Class B Suffolk County Champions!
They will play Division for the Long Island/Regional Championship this Saturday, May 31, 2:30 p.m. at neutral site, Longwood.
Half Hollow Hills Wins Class A Flag Football County Championship
Congratulations to the Half Hollow Hills Flag Football team for clinching the Suffolk County championship!
The 2025 championship is a three-peat for the HHH RedColts.

Ava Zicchinelli Strikes out 13, Throws No-Hitter in County Semifinals
Ava Zicchinelli had a dominant 13-strikeout performance and recorded a no-hitter to lead top-seeded Miller Place in a 7-1 win over Bayport-Blue Point in the Suffolk County Class A semifinals.
The Panthers will either Bayport-Blue Point, who dropped to the lower bracket, or Kings Park in the championship on Saturday, May 31.
