The West Islip boys soccer team had a historic state championship season and the off-season has been just as fun.
Good Samaritan Hospital is a proud supporter.
Hospital COO John McMurray provided each player with their championship ring at a ceremony held in late March hosted by the West Islip Chamber of Commerce.

Congrats again to the Kings Park boys basketball team on an incredible season. Their success was recently recognized by the Suffolk County Legislature with a proclamation.
The Bay Shore girls track and field team recently used concession sales to raise $400 for a Ukrainian relief supply drive.
Special thanks to the ground crews, maintenance, facilities and custodial teams who work hard all season long to make the athletic fields and facilities look amazing across Section XI.

Paul Gallagher of Ward Melville and Trey McGowan of Bayport-Blue Point have both shown tremendous commitment to academics, civic engagement, and athletics.
Both have been added to our Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Watch List and are finalists to be awarded in June.
Nick DeCillis has been working in scholastic athletics since 1956 and still holds his position as administrative assistant for corporate funding at Section XI. He just celebrated his 90th birthday!
