Congrats again to the Kings Park boys basketball team on an incredible season. Their success was recently recognized by the Suffolk County Legislature with a proclamation.
Bay Shore Girls Track and Field Raise Money for Ukrainian Relief
The Bay Shore girls track and field team recently used concession sales to raise $400 for a Ukrainian relief supply drive.

Please join us in congratulating the Island Federal-Section XI Scholar-Athlete Nominees for March!
Paul Gallagher of Ward Melville and Trey McGowan of Bayport-Blue Point have both shown tremendous commitment to academics, civic engagement, and athletics.
Both have been added to our Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Watch List and are finalists to be awarded in June.
Happy 90th Birthday to Nick DeCillis
Nick DeCillis has been working in scholastic athletics since 1956 and still holds his position as administrative assistant for corporate funding at Section XI. He just celebrated his 90th birthday!

John Glenn Boys Tennis Off to Strong Start
John Glenn boys tennis is 4-0 to start the season.
The Knights are led by single players Alon Alkelai, Thomas Doherty, Anthony and Peter Bell.

Rocky Point Baseball Leads Food Drive
Rocky Point Baseball Players were inspired to create a food drive to help address a situation in the local community.

Huntington Hoops Players Read at Elementary School
From Huntington Public Schools …
Seven Huntington High School varsity boys’ basketball players spent time in a pre-kindergarten program classroom at Southdown Primary School reading to the youngsters and sharing their love of books.
