Floyd, Lindy, Sayville, SWR Win Suffolk Football Crowns
Congratulations to William Floyd (Division I), Lindenhurst (Division II), Sayville (Division III) and Shoreham-Wading River (Division IV) on winning their respective Suffolk County football titles.
They will all compete against Nassau County schools in the Long Island championship games this coming week.

November 29
- Div III: 12 pm, Plainedge vs Sayville at Stony Brook University
- Div I: 4:30 pm, Freeport vs William Floyd at Stony Brook University
November 30
- Div IV: 12 pm, SWR vs Seaford at Hofstra University
- Div II: 4:30 pm, Lindenhurst vs Garden City at Hofstra University

Section XI Football Championships Kick Off
Great few days of action ahead for the Section XI football championships at Stony Brook …
THURSDAY, NOV. 21: 1. Sayville v. 3 East Islip, 7 p.m.
FRIDAY, NOV. 22: 1. Floyd v. 3 Longwood, 7 p.m.
SATURDAY, NOV. 23: 1. Lindenhurst v. 2. West Islip, 1 p.m.
SUNDAY, NOV. 24: 1. Mt. Sinai v. 2 SWR, 1 p.m.
Westhampton Beach, Sachem North Win Volleyball Titles
Westhampton Beach and Sachem North have won their respective Long Island boys volleyball titles.
Westhampton Beach beat Long Beach in the Division II final to win their first Island title in school history. The Hurricanes will now play in the state semifinals on Saturday at Albany Capital Center.
Sachem North won the Division I title against Massapequa and continue an undefeated campaign. They have won four of the last six Long Island crowns.
The Flaming Arrows will play in the state semifinals also on Saturday at Albany Capital Center.
Brentwood Captures NYS Class AA Soccer Title

Connetquot, Kings Park, Bayport-Blue Point and Pierson have won their respective Suffolk County girls volleyball championships. Congrats to all!

Sachem North (Division I) and Westhampton Beach (Division II) have won their respective Suffolk County boys volleyball titles.

Event to Honor Memory of Rob Grable
On Friday, December 6, the Suffolk County High School Principals Association will honor the memory of a great man and friend, Rob Grable.
Please join them at The Village Idiot – 1487 Montauk Ave, Oakdale – from 4-7p.m.
There will be a $60 cover charge that will include:
- Open Bar from 4-7pm
- Buffet dinner
- And most importantly, a donation to the Grable Family
There will also be a 50-50 raffle and a Chinese Auction.
