The William Floyd School District honored former head football coach Paul Longo by naming its Lincoln Avenue field after him.

The sign unveiling celebrated 31 years of leadership that produced 253 wins, 15 Suffolk County titles, five Long Island championships and generations of proud Colonials.

“To have my name on the field is an incredible honor but the greatest honor was being the coach of the William Floyd Colonials,” Longo said.

Congratulations, Coach Longo! Here’s to the memories already made and the victories still to come at Paul Longo Field!
