Sayville alum Justin O’Reilly finished her collegiate career at New Paltz as the school’s all-time leading scorer in field hockey.
Her 43 goals are the most ever and her 99 points are second on the career list.
“Justine’s progression over her four years was everything we could have asked for in a student athlete,” New Paltz coach Shannon Szablinski said. “Her physical fitness, endurance and speed all improved so much. Her speed combined with her dynamic movements and first touch upon reception has made her an incredible attacker. It took her time to get to where she is. She is the epitome of what you want to see from a student athlete over their four years.”
