Two Section XI representatives on the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) were on-hand in Syracuse with the full group.

We know Charlie Carter of Mattituck and Bayla Goldberg of Smithtown East enjoyed the experience … thanks for making us proud!

The NYSPHSAA SAAC brings together student-athletes from across the state to provide insight on issues related to sportsmanship, student leadership, and the overall student-athlete experience. Members serve as liaisons between their peers and NYSPHSAA leadership, helping shape statewide initiatives and promote the values of educational athletics.

Charlie and Bayla joined the statewide committee to collaborate with fellow student-athletes, share ideas, and advocate for programs that support positive school sports experiences. Their selection is a testament to their leadership, character, and commitment both on and off the field.
